So, we’re off to see a puppet movie on Sunday. Come join us. But, with it being the last weekend before football starts, why aren’t the studios dropping a big movie on us. There really isn’t a lot going on but let’s see what’s new this week as we bring you our Friday segment “Whaddya Got On Tap?”

Everyone looks to take down the team of Ethan Hunt and company. (BTW: this movie has some pretty intense stunts that Tom Cruise did himself, so if you haven’t seen it, go just for those). The denizens of Pooh Corner as well as the comedy stylings of Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis join forces to see if they can unseat MI: Fallout. So, let’s grab some cocktails and ask ourselves, “Whaddya Got on Tap?”

Let’s see what’s new this week.

We’ve got two big movies and a possible dark horse horror movie this weekend. Denzel returns in one of his better, more understated roles in The Equalizer 2, while the group from Mamma Mia returns in the sequel. Unfriended: Dark Web might present a challenge for the third spot, and may be a dark horse for #2.

Let’s see what’s new this week.

The Rock Swings Into Action This Weekend

Once again, Dwayne Johnson leads us on a wild ride as his plan to remake all the classic 70’s disaster pictures hits its mid stride as we get Skyscraper, an obvious homage to old Chuck Heston flick The Towering Inferno. This will probably be your big winner as Johnson is a great box office draw and a good action flick is just what the summer is all about. But, don’t worry parents. There is something for your kids to see as Hotel Transylvania releases its third installment, Summer Vacation.

So, grab your favorite cocktail and let’s see what’s new this week.
