Mamma Mia does battle with The Equalizer 2 to take the top spot Whaddya Got on Tap 7.20.18

We’ve got two big movies and a possible dark horse horror movie this weekend. Denzel returns in one of his better, more understated roles in The Equalizer 2, while the group from Mamma Mia returns in the sequel. Unfriended: Dark Web might present a challenge for the third spot, and may be a dark horse for #2.

Let’s see what’s new this week.

Duwayne’s Pick: The Equalizer 2! I am a big Denzel Washington fan as well as director Antoine Fuqua! I had reservations about the first one since I enjoyed the TV show, but they really knocked it out of the park. And the trailers for this one has me excited for it. It looks like this is going to be personal for McCall and for us … even more action packed and violent. I cannot wait to see this!

Tim’s Pick: Agree with Duwayne. Loved the first one. Very understated role for Denzel, and I have been looking for the sequel for some time.
